it's about the only one I can get to that's near by.
And that Case is pretty nice, will have to make a knife purse for her when I get

You said "knife purse" Be careful with that.

Those are all some fine knives! I particularly like the Case knife. Those photos are excellent as well.

I really like the Kirby slipjoint. What pattern is it?

I really don't have a name for the pattern. I just drew it up one day and liked it. I'm sure I saw one like it somewhere and subconsciously stored the pattern in my small brain. I like to think all my patterns are original but as the good book says theirs nothing new under the sun! I'm glade you liked it.

I don't know, engraving may compete with the nice ivory, but I'm always
a sucker for engraving, especially celtic knots

PS, the scale material on that Ted Moore knife is Sword Fish bill, he had some
cut up and stabilized, makes for a unique scale eh?

I think we'd still be guessing a year from now, if you hadn't told us!

Gary thanks for a great memory. my family use to live near Harrisburg and use to be a real fun outing going to that show. My wife use to hang out in the gift shop and i went to show. We would always stop on way home for Bunny Burgers. We live in Destin Florida now but i'll always think of central Pa as home.

Seems like only yesterday! but today's show was even better than last years,
I can only make the one day myself, hope others will turn out tomorrow,
there are two rooms of knives, enjoy folks!

Great to meet you Gary. Your selections that you showed me were excellent! Nice edge you showed me from your Wicked Edge. I did make it back today as well. Did all my purchasing on Saturday, but promised to come back to talk with one of the table holders regarding a Spyderco he had in his "for sale" case.

It was a good show. As I understand it, Saturday morning before lunch was the highest attendance time/most busy time of the entire show.

Kirby makes some nice knives. He's a pretty good engraver as well.
