A couple of my bushcraft knives, cut from a .214" thick bar of 5160 HC spring steel to a drop point pattern, i hand forge the taper in and that changes the profile to this. I then finish grind, oil harden, temper to 475F. and polish them. Well, i polished the one with the Red Narra scales, but left the one with the Goncalo Alves scales in a 180 grit matte finish. I also offer charcoal grey Parkerizing free of charge. The scales are removable for cleaning or maintenance.
