Here we have what i call my clip point boot knife. I cut them to a drop point pattern from a .214" thick bar of 5160 high carbon spring steel and when i forge in the taper to the edge the profile changes to this. I then finish grind, oil harden, temper to 475F. and usually polish them. This one i left in a 180 grit matte, but i will polish or parkerize it if desired. Carbon steel MUST be cared for and WILL patina with use,and so the Cordia scales are removable for cleaning or maintenance. They are also polished and finished with an orange oil/beeswax combo. It is 8&15/16" long overall and 4&1/2 tip to wood, and it weighs almost 9&1/2 OZ. I'll take $65.00 shipped in the U.S. paypal only. Contact me here or at djl66ftwii@gmail.com. thank you for your interest.
