This is one of my clip point hunters, my favorite to make. It is 9&1/4" long overall and 4&11/16" tip to wood.Cut to a drop point pattern from a .214" thick bar of 5160 H.C. spring steel, when i hand forge the taper to the edge the profile changes to this. I then finish grind, oil harden, temper to 475F. and polish them. The Cocobolo scales are sculpted with a dremel, hand sanded, then polished with my Baldor buffer. This one feature hand inlet brass hardware and is finished with an orange oil/beeswax combo. I now offer parkerizing free of charge.
