This is my take on the Nessmuck design. Cut from a .214" thick bar of 5160 H.C. spring steel,i hand forge the taper to the edge. I then finish grind, oil harden, temper to 475F. and polish them. This one i left in a 180 grit matte finish but would parkerize or polish it out free of charge. I offer the parkerizing because carbon steel must be cared for and will patina with use. It is 9&9/16" overall and 4&15/16" tip to wood. The scales are Cordia, with hand inlet brass hardware, are finished with an orange oil/beeswax combo and are removable for cleaning or maintenance.
