This is one of my sheepsfoot caping knives. Cut from a .214" thick bar of 5160 H.C. spring steel,it is 9&1/16" long overall and 4&1/16" tip to wood. When i hand forge the taper to the edge the profile changes to this. I then finish grind, oil harden, temper to 475F. and usually polish them, but this one is parkerized for corrosion protection. The Goncalo alves scales are sculpted with a dremel, hand sanded, then polished with my Baldor buffer. They feature hand inlet brass hardware and are finished with an orange oil/beeswax combo.I'll take $65.00 shipped in the U.S., and $10.00 more outside, Paypal.
