This one was a customers design, but i really like it. He called it a caping knife and with your thumb up in the pocket you can tell that it will be a nimble and very controllable skinner. It is cut from a .214" thick bar of 5160 high carbon(.6%) spring steel with the edge area straight, then when i hammer in the taper the profile changes to this. I then finish grind, oil harden, temper to 475F. and finish them out to a 180 grit matte. I offer polishing or parkerizing free of charge It is 8&15/16" long overall and 4&1/2" tip to wood. The Cordia scales feature hand inlet brass hardware and are removable for cleaning or maintenance. My prices are going up a little. They have been selling SO fast, and since people have started voluntarily sending me more than my asking price now, it seems right. I'll take $75.00 shipped in the U.S.($10.00 more outside), I prefer paypal. Contact me here or at djl66ftwii@gmail.com SOLD!
