This exceptionally unique Kris dagger is forged from a nickel alloy steel named 8670, and hand sanded to a fine 600 grit satin finish. The contrasting ricasso is left "as forged" to remind us of how it's made. The tang is fitted with a frame handle construction, using Bronze and black G-10 for the frame. Solid slabs of Mother of Pearl are layered on top of the frame, which show a brilliant shine and depth when moved around in light. The mother of pearl handle features carved accents on top and bottom with hammer domed bronze pins to finish it off. The balance point on this knife is right where the mother of pearl handle material ends and the forged ricasso begins.
