Vodka (at Virginia Beach) 10 minutes after Seal Team Six came by. That was pretty cool :cool: in some boats I had never seen before.

Man the hummingbirds are much nicer to one another where you're at Rubi. The ones around here won't get on there at the same time and dive bomb each other. You can actually hear them hit one another.
 
I have between 7-9 coming regularly. Just had 3 on one feeder at the same time. Two nights ago was amazing, storm or full moon had them flying around me I was ducking they were so close. Lots of fun.
 
Rubi, It's nearly impossible w/ my phone but I'll try and get a photo of my little bat buddies that visit the bug feeding frenzy the light(s) on the deck provides at night.
 
Love to see it N2K :thumbup: Bats are like Army Infantryman - Indespensible asset to ALL that is important .... doing what they do in the dark of night and rarely receiving nor expecting any credit. Missed when they are gone.

Until they try and nest in crevices in your house. Fixed that with some medium expansion foam but had to make sure they were all out first so I made a one way net so they could get out but not back in. Left that up for a week and then sealed it up. They are great for taking care of mosquitoes though.

Yikes! Just call their Company Commander and say, "Hey WTH, there is a bunch of your guys holed up in the crevices of my house and the farts and language is scaring the Wife.....!" First Sergent will come over and get that squared away real quick.
Don't know what to tell ya' about the mosquitos though, I got out awhile ago....;)

Love to see bats around, especially when you consider the amount of mosquitos they put away in a night. Their populations are taking a hell of a beating from some kind of fungus apparently:mad:
 
Innes&Gunn is a Scottish brewery known for ageing their beer in different used distillery barrels. Pretty neat the flavours they impart on the beer, I'm most partial to the rum barrel version. They are not heavy, flavor-bombs. More of a subtle flavouring comes out in the taste. They even did a Canadian Whiskey edition for Canada Day:thumbup:
