Liberty Mountain (Olicamp) Matchbox?

Tom,
Gald you went with the K&M. they are a hight quality product, that the owners are great folks. did you get the standard case or the long one? I have 4 or 5 cases at home, but all are the shorter model. I just use a wire cutter to trim matched if necessary - the strike anywheres I have seem to work fine in my cases.

I told him I wanted cases to fit Diamond strike-anywhere matches. They seem to have a space, when capped, 2.25" deep.

I just took they out of the 16"-deep "bath." No leaks.

Hi guys. I discovered the K&M Matchcases last week, and based on all the reading I've done on them, I am quite impressed. I have two Silva matchcases that I have had for a little while. They have seved me well. I have never had to rely on the compass, but I eyeball them every now and then, and they seem to work well. I have converted one of my cases into an emergency tinder case, and I'll probably do the same with the other.

I'd like to invest in a few of the K&M long matchcases, but first, I have a million questions. How did you guys place your orders? Did you just call? Looking at their website, it looks like they are out of town until October, and web orders aren't currently being accepted. Thomas, when did you order your cases, and how long was shipping time? And finally, what do the cases sell for, roughly? There are no prices on the K&M website.

Thanks guys!

If you call Keith direct, the price for either matchcase (brass or aluminum) is $15.00 plus $4.05 shipping. Website price is $19.00 per case. Keith is not set up for credit cards or paypal. He does accept money orders or checks. If the matchcase that you want is in stock, typically it is shipped within 24 hrs. Keith and Marge are on vacation until the first week of October. It would be best to contact them when they return.

Trust me, their matchcases are worth the wait!

Thank you for the info TAH! I'll warm up the checkbook, and contact them in October. I'm not in a hurry for the matchcases, but I like to have a general time frame in mind for deliveries.

Just ask Keith when he will be able to ship. He's real easy to talk to.
