Here is my KMG setup when it was new and clean. It has a 2hp 3phase VFD drive. I have a MAPP arm attachment, small wheel attachment and a couple of other goodies. I use it all the time for other metal/wood working besides knives. I love the variable speed, makes it so easy to adjust to your needs.

I felt pretty good that I was able to alter this machete to my liking. I would love to be able to make a knife. Let me think of some questions for you.

The requested close ups show what I mean about not being done with shaping the handles.
