Life cycle of a Torsion spring

don't you guys read the service manual? you have to go gentle on the torsion bar for 3 weeks or 300 openings, for proper break in of the knife

Good to know! I should be getting my CB Shallot before too long and I'd hate to mess up such a beautiful knife by obsessively opening it too much (which I'm almost certainly going to do!) ;)

Maybe if I count real carefully I can just get it to 299 openings in the first weeks and it'll be fine! Right? Right!? :o
