Retail plus insured shipping. AND he corrected a service problem in under 24 hours!!! Like I said, my dealings with Dennis have been a pleasure..... Hope you contact him and get a knife as beautiful as mine!!!

Michael, the reason I asked is because on 2/16 Dennis posted:

"My Decorated Sebenzas go fo $450.00 large and $415.00 small, shipping included. If you don't want to pay the price then, by all means, go somewhere else, please..."

So you paid $390 plus $25 shipping?

The host and hostess for a big party often have certain friends and relations who should be invited, but who should be seated at different tables from certain other friends and relations.

There are a number of people in these forums who have good things to contribute to the discussions, but who simply should not respond to each other's posts.

And we "knife people" are not such a "mainstream" group in the general public that we can afford this "stuff" among ourselves.

RGray, please do not start in on me!!! (I don't even know you...) If you are implying that I am some kind of idiot that would pay $25 shipping on a $390 knife, then please email me personally and I'm sure we can work something out. Again, PLEASE don't waste any more CRK forum time with petty bickering.

I should have told you the first time you asked that the price was really none of your business; but since I didn't, and since you've gone on to imply that I would pay $25 to ship a knife, I'll add this: Total out of pocket expense was $400. (AND still love the knife...and might even pay $450 or 475 if I wanted to!! CRK Knives are great; and supply and demand economics are part of the American way of life. That's what the "S" is for in MSRP....)

Let's get back to the business of talking about knives!!!!

If someone wants to pay full retail and shipping to boot, that`s fine with me. Just don`t expect me to do it.
