Looks like frottage to me.
Now is it just me or do these things somehow manage to look even better when they've gotten some good use? Nice d-guard, too - on a knife this large, I think it's a pretty good idea. :thumbup:
Have you mic'd how thick that beast is? I'm still trying to figure out what the thickness range on these CGs is. The LEs go up to as thick as .27" :thumbup:

Okay, I take it back. I must've been drunk when I measured before.
Mine does average right around .275". The cool thing, however, is that this measurement stays right around that point almost all the way to the end of the blade.
Looks like frottage to me.
I had to look up the definition. LMFAO! Yes a little frottage has taken place!
