Light Blue G10 like used on the Spyderco, how do you like it?

Outlaw,
Yeah. G10 has layers. I shape down into the layers. By doing this I create an illusion of a pattern. I do the same thing on all of my Micarta handles. The Black G10 will do the same, but it is so dark that it won't show up in the picture. Looks really cool in person. The glass fibers in the G10 shimmer when you turn the handle.

I just added a really high resolution picture of the Blue G10 Patrolman. Go to Gallery 1 and click on the small blue G10 picture, to get to the high resolution picture. This picture really shows the pattern well.

Very nice indeed

Between the light colored G10, and the hi-res pic, it's like a topographical map of the handle: does a nice job of showing off the palm swell. What's the finished texture of the G10 like on that knife? How rough/smooth is it?

When I first looked at your backup knives, I thought they were somewhat larger than what the measurements reveal them to be -- might be helpful if you could scan one of the knives next to some extremely recognizable object, like a dollar bill, bic pen, maglight, etc. ...

The blue G10 looks great!

As another possibility, Crawford got hold of a dark, subdued shade of blue micarta to use on my Carnivore. May be good option for those who don't care for the bright blue g10 but can't stomache aother "black" knife.

Thank you. That was scanned directly on a Hewlett Packard scanner. I have another scanner, but this one is so much better. As I have knives to scan, I will replace the exsisting pictures on my site with higher quality scans. Today, I will be changing the large image on the Carbon Fiber Texan to a high resolution scan of the handle. Should be up in about 30 minutes.

Thanks again,

You make some really good looking knives Mr. Griffith. I hope someday I can be able to purchase one. I, for one, appreciate you allowing the members of this forum to see the development of these knives. Thank you for being one that makes this forum enjoyable.

Lynn, you do some beautiful work. So many knives... so little money...

Actually, I just realized my post came out wrong. When I said, ".... if I don't, I won't care," it was to imply that if I ran out of time (died), I would no longer care. I didn't mean that if you stopped making knives, I wouldn't care.
