light brigade or sarge?

I think a lot of the previous points are great. I've never handled a TG but I have two SARGEs and I really like the knife. For it's size, and weight, I don't think it gets much better (though the jimping wasnt bad). I'm sure you'd be happy with either, but as others have said, the satin finish on the SARGE might be worth the extra $$, especially if you only plan on ever buying one Busse.

The DSSF is a great militarized 8" kitchen knife, but the Sarge7 will slice pretty well too.



I've got both, TGLB and the Sarge7, and in defense of the TGLB, I ordered a second. Love the handle and the balance of the knife.

edit: Almost forgot... don't worry about the Sarge 7, it's 0.230" thick on the spine. The spine's melted so it doesn't look as thick as it is in the pictures.
