LB Mistress sounds cool BUT . Is there a limit to the blade lenght in reguards the new LB handle design ? How strong can it be with less metal supporting a long blade and its chopping force ? Send me one I ll test it and let you know

I don't think the steel removed from under the scales would affect that much, if at all. Seems like it's on different axes from the forces applied on a long blade, whether from gravity and orientation or from chopping. The Light Brigade handles remove steel that would enforce tangs laterally, but you wouldn't do that to a knife handle anyway.

Me either. Plus the only time I had ever heard about Busse was from the knifetests vids by Noss on a mistress, so I wouldnt mind this version being my first user mistress. I picked up a Old School SHBM with an asym edge for trading purposes recently.
