Anything that is old school remake is great.. call it Nuclear meltdown or anything, but the old school design has got to come back for a while... OLD A2 style mean street, badger attack, Steel heart II and yes, battle mistress Bring em on!

As much as I'd like to see the return of the SHBM in any form, I think I'd prefer it with that 11" blade and Nuke treatment on a slimmer blank with a full handle tang.

I'd like to see that blade & grind shown on that dodo bird LB with a much slimmer handle and a sweet satin finish!!! :thumbup:

This is an example of the light brigade handle treatment, done on the pregnant dodo bird assault jerry just posted in another thread. It creates an ibeam type setup where the web in the center of the handle is considerably thinner than the overall stock thickness, lightening the weight of the handle and moving the balance forward while avoiding the vibration problems of skeletonized tangs in choppers.

I'd prefer to see the light brigade treatment on the EDC sized knives. The Game Warden for example, is far too handle heavy (and heavy overall) for such a small blade. The AD, Meaner, and Boss Streets would all benefit tremendously from a lighter handle to balance them out.

I really hope to see this in the future!

I think that the light brigade treatment is for making big choppers lighter in weight without turning them into big vibrating tuning forks. Smaller knives get the SLUT treatment to lighten them as the vibrations from chopping are not an issue.
