Here's a camp knife that i finally got around to finishing. W2 steel, clay quenched with a hamon. 13.25" OAL!

Curly Koa and tiger maple frame handle with a carbon fiber pin.

Nickel silver ferrule, and a copper spacer made from a 1916 British penny.

The handle is proud of the spacers and bevelled for comfort. This caused the illusion of a gap, but it is only a bevelled edge.

SPECS:

Clay quenched W2 steel
OAL: 13-1/4"
Blade width: 1-1/2″ at the heel
Blade: 1/8" with a tapered tang. Full flat grind, this thing is a slicing machine!
Sharpened to 20 dps
Comes with a hand stamped butterfly sheath.

Very nic, will that make the blade length about 6-7 inches? The Koa really knocks it out of the park.
