Light duty gloves?

I'm looking for some light duty gloves. I haul around heavy audio and video equipment every day at work. I also work with lighting equipment.

I am looking for some light duty gloves I can wear at work. By the end of the day, my hands are sore, bruised, and somtimes cut or burnt. I would like something I can wear all day without them getting in the way. I would be a big plus if they were heat and cut resistant.

Any suggestions?

I just bought the new Blackhawk kevlar S.O.L.A.G. gloves and they are the best glaves i have ever owned, they offer the best dextarity i have seen in a glave and are heat/cut resistant due to the kevlar. I would reccomend them.

Those Blackhawk gloves look amazing! A bit expensive, but if they are all they are cracked up to be, they should be worth it...

Im going to post a review complete with pics in a few days, look for it, the feel of these gloves truly is amazing, you have so much dextarity, i have even been to the range with them and they are fin to shoot with, thats how much feeling you maintain and how skin tight they are.

Here ya go. . . These are the ssss..........well, you get my drift.

Most of my experience, with these gloves, were with the Friction Fighter NT's. But, have also used the Heat Grip CT's, Impact CT's and Hi-Impact II CT's quite extensively.

They're completely black and won't fall apart.

You won't be disappointed !

im2smrt4u,

Well I'll second the Blackhawk Gloves ........ great second skin that'll protect your hands from cuts, heat and maintain your sence of touch.

I use it when climbing (not what you think, climbing scaffoldings, buildings etc.) and chopping (with my BK6 Becker Patrol Machete).

i would not go with the KEVLAR SOLAG
i have the kevlar solag, the normal solag and the stealth aviator
for manual dexterity the stealth aviator wins hands down
the solag comes second
even when seasoned, the kevlar solag is thick
so if you need to have nifty fingers, it's not that great
but you can't beat it for protection

So I sacrifice a little dexterity for the added protection.

Heheh.. I placed an order for the regular SOLAGs a couple of days ago. Then I realized there's a Kevlar version and I said "uh oh". But, now I realize I did pick the right one for me. I like having more dexterity.

Thanks for the info! And making me spend more $$$ :(

;)

that is right
it all depends on what you're using it for

Sorry im2smrt4u for not getting back to you sooner.

I don't know what their prices are :( . . .mine were issued to me. :D

If you want the normal SOLAGs, www.1sks.com offers great prices for them. That's where I ordered mine. They don't seem to list the kevlar version though.

Otherwise, I would order from www.lagger-pro.com. You actually end up visiting the Blackhawk web page given above, but by linking through Lagger Pro, you get free shipping. :D
