This one is mostly stock removal but I did forge in some texture on the flats and shaped the handle in the forge. A thin and very sharp knife making it a real slicer.

3/32 inch 52100 steel heat treated with a six cycle process to Rc 58-60 with a fine grain throughout the blade
Flat grind with a mat finish
Stabilized spalted maple handle
Overall length: 7 1/4 inches
Blade: 3 1/2 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop

Yes, drnls, as Brian_T commented, they often do go quick. We have seen some of Gerry's "jewels" go even quicker than this one, in minutes rather than hours. His combination of skilled craftsmanship, quality ingredients, tested utility, and obvious artistry at extremely reasonable prices all are in play in the explanation as to why they get grabbed up with such speed.
