Greg Lightfoot Chainsaw ($430) and Steven Kelly Excel ($285 SOLD)
Prices are Paypal G&S and include fees and shipping for U.S. sales. Offers are welcome as I'm really looking for sales instead of trades.
I have videos of each knife that I can email if you'd like to see.
First up, the Lightfoot Chainsaw, $430. Approximately 4" blade of CPM-154 with hollow grind, black G10 with carbon fiber bolster, thick Ti liners, and Lightfoot's characteristic style including the asymmetrical swedge. Nice, smooth opening with thumbstud, solid lockup. In person the scales look more like the photo of the presentation side shown at an angle (some photos make it look darker, but it's more of a greyish black). Comes in a zippered storage case with Lightfoot patch/logo on it.
Steven Kelly Excel, SOLD.
4" compound grind CTS-XHP blade, hand-rubbed flats, flame-colored Ti framelock.
This knife is hard to photograph to capture all the different colors effectively. This knife was sent to Mr. Kelly once for a tuning and he also replaced one thumbstud at the time because it had a burr on it. The details on the knife are very nice - texturing in the lockbar relief, where your thumb presses to release the lock, and also filework along the back. There is one small nick on the presentation scale that you can see in the first photo (looks like little white dot near center). Honestly can't remember if it was there originally or if it happened while I had it. The lock sometimes has a bit of stickiness but it's not much and the more it has been cycled the better it's gotten. Lockup is about 50% and centering is great. Comes with certificate of authenticity and zippered case. This knife was originally sold by Fort Henry Custom Knives which still has more professional photos in the archive listed as a Steve Kelly XL Excel.
