No, it is not a scratch. It is just a small thread & the camera was really zoomed in. I'm looking to sell a few knives to thin the herd as they say. Thanks.
 
I tracked down Greg Lightfoot at the Blade Show in Atlanta this weekend to ask him to look this knife over. I never could figure out what the blade steel was and the grind looked different. To my great surprise, he said it was a one of a kind, special order with a unique blade grind and a stellite blade!
