I have been bitten by the Shiro bug recently so these two prized Spyderco / Martin Slysz collaborations are going to be going to new owners. With that said, let's get the prices out of the way and please note that prices are firm with no offer / trade propositions. All listed prices are inclusive of PayPal fees (G&S only) and the USPS Domestic Priority Mail shipping to all 50 States.
Prices:
1- Slysz Bowie:$375 all in >>> Sold to mcoop1
2- Spydiechef:$175 SOLD all in >>> Sold to mcoop1
$10 off the total only if the same person buys both simultaneously!
Descriptions:
Slysz Bowie: Excellent & mint condition with very gently honed (only a handful of swipes one one occasion) factory edge on my Spyderco Shrpmaker's UF rods (bought as extras!), but I will define this example as "used" albeit very little to almost none, since I have cut some paper plus some pocket carry time. I am the second owner!
The previous owner had dismantled this Slysz Bowie to lubricate and make it a smoother flicking folder but in the process had marred (not stripped!) the pivot screw. I ordered a new set of pivot screws for this from Spyderco (free and exemplary service) and painstakingly disassembled the knife again only using my Wiha tools, relubricated using Extreme Fluoru grease and then assembled back proficiently. This is an extremely smooth example of this very sought after model and the blade is dead centered without any issues. Upon very close inspection under my 10 loupe, this edge still looks as factory fresh as can be and it is very sharp. Please note any and all blemish / markings on the Ti scales due to use / pocket carry albeit very gently.
Comes with original box and everything exactly as photographed. In excellent / mint condition as the title states.
Spydiechef: Excellent & mint condition with gently honed factory edge on my Spyderco Shrpmaker's Fine & UF rods (bought as extras!) on a couple-few occasions (may show some honing scratch pattern on the blade). I will still define this excellent example as "used" albeit very gently, since I have cut some paper, fruits, apples and sandwiches plus it has seen pocket carry time. I am the original owner!
Never has been taken apart but had been opened and shut many, many times to eradicate the initial lockbar stick which is now totally gone with the assistance of some Sharpie marker application at the beginning. I had also added a drop of nano oil at the beginning to the pivot area to make it open / shut more smoothly. The blade is very sharp and also centered. Please note any and all blemish / markings on the Ti scales due to use / pocket carry albeit very gently.
Comes with original box and everything exactly as photographed. Overall in excellent condition as shown.
Strict terms of sale:
1- Must be 18 years or over and must know your own State's, City's and Local laws with regards to purchase, transportation and handling of knives.
2- NO TRADES / No Offers please. Domestic shipping only!
3- "I will take it" on here takes priority as far as time stamp goes, then followed by "start a conversation" which is the old PM routine. I will ask for your PayPal email address to invoice you, as I prefer this as opposed to you just sending me PP funds.
4- My decision as to whom I do business with is final. I don't hold onto my offerings for days on end and if the transaction is not completed and funded within a timely manner, I will move onto other prospective buyers, if any. I also reserve the right to terminate the listing at any time of my choosing.
5- Any deal is truly a done deal when both parties are completely satisfied based on my thorough and honest description. You may contact me within 24 hours of confirmed receipt if unsatisfied (I was on vacation or any other delayed stories will not cut it. STRICTLY 24 hours from confirmed receipt!!!) but I will NOT accept any returns if the knife has been used, abused, dismantled or simply due to buyer's remorse (in case of any returns for whatever reason, buyer is responsible for fully insured return shipping fees in the same way it was received).
6- I ship out with insurance for the full transaction value but I do not require signature upon delivery unless the value received is over $500. If your carrier decides to collect your signature, even though not stipulated, I will not be held responsible in the case that you may need to visit your local USPS to collect the package because no one was at the addressee's to accept delivery per insured value or any other circumstances deemed as unsafe to leave at the door by the carrier.
Thank you.
