Hi all,

I have a lightly used Strider AR for trade. It has been carried and gently used for light cutting (cord, electrical tape, etc.), but has never been sharpened. The clip is a bit scuffed from carry. Parts of the blade surface show carry marks, but the finish is 100%. It is the older model with flat, rough-textured black G-10 scales and black-and-gray camouflaged blade with Bos heat treatment.

I’m looking for the following in similar condition:

-Chris Reeve Large Sebenza
-MercWorx Atropos, Lachesis, Clotho, Orion, Golgotha, Shiva, or Vorax
-Microtech (plain edges only) Tachyon, Dragonfly, SOCOM auto, QD Scarab, or Combat Troodon

I’ll entertain other offers, but on this particular trade I’m not interested in Spyderco, Benchmade, Kershaw, Cold Steel, etc. I’m primarily looking for higher-grade combat folders. I’ve got a brand-new, custom-made kydex belt sheath that I can include with the trade for the right knife. I can also add cash, as appropriate.

I'll answer you here so that everyone can see the responses. Handle length is 5 3/8ths inches. Blade length is exactly 4 inches and thickness is 3/16ths inch. It's S30V. Both liners are thick (3/32nds inch) titanium slabs, and the pocket clip is titanium, also. This is one solid, hand-filling, incredibly tough folder!

Back to the top. The knife's still available for trade.

Since I'm here to put the listing back up, I'll take the time to relate an anecdote for anyone who might be "on the fence" about this knife. I have a friend who's so hard on knives that he's broken three Sebenzas (don't know if he was abusing them or not; he was in the Army when he accomplished this feat...three times!). When I showed him the AR (which I was carrying at the time), he said, "Now THIS is the knife that I needed during Northern Warfare School!"

I have to agree! If I had to rely on just a folder for survival or the rigors of daily field life, the AR would be exactly the folder I'd be looking for.

So why am I trading it? It no longer suits my needs. Perhaps it will suit yours.

I'm really looking for a MercWorx or a plain-Jane Large Sebenza.
