My thoughts exactly. My only complaint with the contego, and only reason I dont own one is the ridiculously agressive texturing on tye handles. To me, the stock scales ombine with large and sharp jimping made the contego feel almost impossible to hard use comfortably without gloves. But with your new smooth scales, i imagine that isnt such an issue anymore.
 
The blue G10 pin looks great (as do the LSCF scales) is it held in just with tension or adhesive of some sort?
