Congrats on the GB2! I luckily found one last week brand new and I'm patiently waiting on its arrival this Friday. What made you jump on the GB2?...isn't it less than your 4" blade criteria?

spyderco endura comes in at 3.75" but its definitely light and well below $250

My first thought was the same but is under budget.
Great knife none the less.

The GB2 doesn't address the usage case that I posted about here.

It's just a knife that I liked, that I saw at a good price. The owner sold his to buy that sprint 20CV/G10 Kapara.

It's kinda pushed back my other planned purchases just a little, but that's okay. I'm a patient man.
