Lightweight EDC folder budget $50-$100

- light weight and thin (as in the over all thickness of the knife handle)
- locking mechanism similar to Benchmade Axis lock
- good tip strength

I work in a restaurant kitchen so i will use it mostly to cut boxes, case straps (plastic), tape, etc...

i also work in a restaurant and i find the bm 530 to be a favorite. its fast to open and close, and one handed. its light so it doesn't move around alot in you chef pants when you are flying up and down stairs or across the building.
 
I looked around a few sites and cheapest for the 940 is around $170 which i think is too much for what i need it for. Can you send some links to cheaper sites?
