Hi Bladeforum members, for those that don't know ,and that is probably most of you my name is Joe Hoover. The knives I have shown here for sale are made by me. I design, profile, grind, fit the scales and make the sheaths. I do the heat treating in house as well, with the exception of some steels that I just feel more comfortable sending out to someone that specializes in that particular type. I make every knife I do to the best my meager skills. I back all my knives with a MBG, I tell you this because I believe when an individual hands, or sends me their hard earned money for a knife I made my reputation comes with it. My mark is my name, and it will be on every knife I sale from this point on.
Thanks,

Now for the knife, this little knife has an overall length 7 1/4 inches. The blade is 3 3/16th inches to the plunge cuts. It was made from 1/8th thick 1095 steel, and was heat treated and tempered by me. It is hollow ground, and hand polished to a nice satin finish. Along the top of the blade just in front of the scales there is 1/2 inch of filed serrations for thumb traction if needed. The scales are Wenge wood with an oil finish. They are secured by (2) 1/4 inch brass tubes, and epoxy.
The hand sewn sheath is made from 7-8 ounce veg. tanned leather, that fits like a glove, and finished out with neatsfoot oil.
I'm asking 125.00 shipped in CONUS, I am also open to reasonable offers. Reduced to 85.00PayPal or USPS M/O preferred
Any comments you may have are appreciated, thanks for looking.

Another great one!! I've been lucky enough to see and handle some of Joe's work......I assure you it is top notch!

Thanks, I look forward to skinnin' one out! WOW, you lowered the price too so you can get supplies, if I can find a job soon you'll have more supplies than you want with prices like this!

I added a picture of this one in my hand, this knife is perfect size for easy carry, and still large enough to make a good skinner for deer size game.

Again thanks Thundermoon, this little knife is light, graceful, and the perfect size for deer hunter. It will make someone a super little skinning knife, looks like it might be me.

You're right this would be a perfect skinner for deer hunting, or any hunting for that matter. If it's like your others she's razor sharp.....I'm shakin' the piggy bank to see if mama left anything.
