I've been making knives as a hobbyist for the past year. Now I’m selling a few.
Knives are made from Aldo's 1084 steel, heat treated by me in my homemade propane forge. The steel was normalized 3 times, heated again and quenched in canola oil and tempered for 2 hours at 400 degrees.
I use West Systems G Flex epoxy.
The leather is 8/9 ounce veggie tanned from Tandy. The sheaths were assembled and saddle stitched by me.
Prices include shipping within the US by Priority Mail. I’ll ship Priority to Canada for an extra $15.
I prefer Paypal.
First “I’ll take it.”
3.50” blade. 8.00” overall. 1/8” thickness. Flat grind. Hand sanded to 220 grit. Hidden tang with teak handle and African blackwood guard.
Knife is very light and balances at the index finger.
I’ve carried and used this knife a couple times. It has some discoloration.
The sheath was not originally made for this knife so it’s not a perfect fit. It does hold it snugly.
$65 shipped.
