Here is a Bowie I just finished. This is the first time I have worked with Lignum Vitae, and let me tell you this stuff is crazy tough!
They used to make bearings out it, and now I can see why!
The handle is far more green than the pictures show. The blade is 8.25" 5160, with the OAL being 13.75"
The clip is sharp, but not quite razor sharp. I left some trace forge elements on the blade as this is meant to be a working knife.
The sheath is a scout style made from heavy 10oz leather, and is my first time making this style.
Here are the specs.

OAL - 13.75"
Blade - 8.25"
Steel - .214" 5160 (Heat treat is done by me in a digitally controlled Evenheat kiln)
Handle - Lignum Vitae (Very tough wood!)
Pins - stainless steel
Sheath - 10oz veg tan leather, can be worn vertical or horizontal.
Price SOLD
Paypal or money order.

I'm not a Bowie fan, but I like this knife! It's one of the more beautiful and useful looking Bowies I've seen in quite some time!

Thanks guys!
It is stock removal ice-pic.
The sheath is stock removal as well.

Lignum Vitae handles with Ben R.T blade = have fun breaking one.
This is made to do wonders!

Great stuff Ben!

Thanks for the kind words guys!

XJ Jake, shoot me an email and we can talk.

Ben

Hey Ben, I like that sheath a lot and those handle scales are really good looking , of course I'm a big fan of simple brown handles, probably why I opted for walnut on two of my custom blades, I like going for the good stuff...:)
