Like gentleman folders? Check this out.

Pretty knife. If you like reviews of those types of knives there’s a German guy on YouTube that has done tons of them. Steffen Smallhaus or something like that.

Nice looking knife except for the pattern on the spring. Also, the guy in the video should do voices for cartoons.

I have like 3 knives in the Le Thiers pattern, I like it very much. Unfortunately not many US sites carry them.

I watched the video last night. I like the knife for the most part. The price for what you get (value) isn't there for me, especially when you are talking about upgrading materials.

I think they're overpriced based on what I found online. The cheapest I saw was $225 (+ $10 shipping) for the type in the video.

Well the ram horn, birch and some others, of the NATURE series can be had for $179.00 with free shipping (though the import of these is dwindling these days so supplies are diminishing :(). If you buy from France you end up paying VAT which admittedly is no value added. Still, these are, very nicely made. I've owned lesser knives that cost more (past tense ;)).

"The lack of a clip is beginning to be problematic". LoL Just get a sheath Nick. It fits more in the traditional than modern.

Yeah. He should feel exactly as you do. LOL

Everybody has an opinion, Nick, me, you. Thing is, a lot of people don't like traditionals because they are...well, traditional, a d don't have modern amenities. Probably just means you don't like traditionals, not that they need to remake it differently. If the company wanted to appeal to people that liked modern folders, thats what they would have made, instead of something more traditional.

Either way it looks like he's gonna need a sheath unless he has a drill and a clip off a modern folder. ;)

Here is the little cousin in leather, called Le Pocket. These are excellent knives available here in the US or from the maker in France.

Very fine knife.

I had to wonder about the terminology when it was brought up.

If it's a pocket knife it's meant to be pocketed. When did clips become a thing?

New thread material here.
