Thank you RayseM RayseM & marchone marchone
Your comments are appreciated. Im so very happy with the way they turned out. The artist in me just loves engraving.
The O/U is an A.V. Maroccini, Marchone. :) Beautiful gun with a right hand palm swell. Just fits the hand magnificently, it has taken many a bird. :)
Stay safe ya’ll, but more importantly....stay healthy!

Seriously, as RayseM RayseM can attest...the FP knives fit the hand quite nicely, they are a pleasure to use. :) Im sure if you hated it when you got it, there would be a few guys ready to buy that off you.
And if you are a guy who prefers pocket clips...you could always make a form fitted belt sheath. Done properly, they dont get in the way, and you cant tell its even on! Upside down retention is great. Ive never had my knife pop out. :)
Here is the one I made for mine...like a glove...haha

ETA: oh! And if you wear a sheath...it means more empty pockets for even more knives at once! Hahaha.

ETA: Form fitted sheaths are amazing...I dont have the appropriate membership to make and sell these...right now I make for my own enjoyment. For amazing moulded sheaths, please contact Gary W. Graley Gary W. Graley . His work is excellent!

Pretty great set up their Sharp & Fiery Sharp & Fiery  My Le Pocket is a good handful but sits comfortably in my jeans "watch pocket" so it is ever ready but never in the jangle with other stuff. Not all pants have such a pocket or one that is deep enough - then I carry other folders - some in belt sheaths. Right now though, Le Pocket has taken on the status as my "dress knife". Though these days no occasions to get fancier than jeans or carharts :( - oh hell - I still carry it - such a beauty and useful knife. ;)

I do miss my French knives, the one distributor in the US is closing up shop, so it will be a while before I can get another, but sheaths do work fine if you want to belt carry one

Thank you Gary, you inspired me to try to make my own. A compliment, coming from you, is very rewarding. Thank you. I can see all the imperfections, as I am sure you can too. ;) But pretty happy with my first go.

Those Le Theirs with stag are beautiful. So so nice.
Your sheaths are beautiful, and I will soon own one as @WValtakis sold me a knife that has one of your sheaths...after much begging I might add. ;) lol.

Thanks Ray!
Glad to hear that you carry yours, even if its not a dress occasion. :) Every occasion is a great one to carry a French beauty!
How do you find the shorter but thicker handle on Le Pocket?

The company in Florida is closing Gary? Permanently? That's a disappointment. Maybe a good time to get a deal?

Thanks Ray!

The overall length including the extended metal loop is 4". For me 4" is the minimum of a comfortable hand hold and so this suits me perfectly making this relatively small knife just right. If it were intended as a real EDC work knife I would want the 4" to 4-1/4" in the full handle area between the bolster and the tail but as a casual use knife Le Pocket est tout simplement parfait. :)

Thank you for the quick review.
Seems like the Washington Company in question has already discontinued the website. A sad day for French Knives affectionados.
