Hi Folks,

Was digging through my collection of knives and came across one of my first forgings. This knife has never been used, just kept in my gun cabinet.

Specs are as follows:

3 3/4" hog nosed, blade of 1070, 3/16" at spine tapering to ricasso.

Full tapered tang with layered/antiqued leather grip and a lightly figured copper wrap.

The leather is protected with epoxy and provides a very nice grip.

The underside of the blade sports a forged thumb pad, perfect for field dressing a buck.

O.A.L is 6 3/4"

As always, a hand stitched leather sheath by my father-in-law Paul Wittle with rattlesnake logo.

Nice patch knife or hunter.

$125.00 + shipping....Reduced to $100.00

Thanks,

Bob,

Hershey, PA

That's different & I like it.....nice job.
What exactly is that copper wrap? Solid piece of copper?
BTW, good job also with the camera.....very nice pics!

Thanks Mick57,

The copper wrap is thick gauge sheet stock, lightly textured with a hammer and the wrapped and epoxied over the layered leather.
