Lil Hiking, Lil Camping...

Schweet. Was a great day and place to camp/hike as well. Can't wait to go back and camp out overnight.

The scales on the BK9 are the optional micarta ones. I got them from Tomar's Kabar. Not particularly cheap, but they fit all the Beckers and feel great.

As for starting the fire, the senior firestarter, RescueRiley scraped some wood, placed the scrapings on top of some bark and used a LightMyFire steel to get the fire going. Not sure if I missed anything.

JV3 - The nekkid pics may be too much for some people here.....

cleared with the higher-ups today...i'm going out for an overnighter on tuesday. i'll have lots of spam and bourbon.

Giggidy. Who is going? I should be able to do Tuesday again. Not sure what food I'll bring, but it will be good.

it's not car camping so my gf is not going....especially after i showed her our camp pics :eek: i was going to risk it but i don't feel like buying jewelry...so it's just my close friends that are tagging along.

We had a tornado in my neighborhood on Thiurs night so I;ve been withou internet.. untill I got to work today...Thanks for all the kind words guys.

That is cool. Playing it safe is a good idea lol. Save yourself a trip to the jewelry store and any other possible fallout.
