Lil Matriarch - any info?

Anyone know when the Lil' Matriarch will be released? is VG10 a quality steel? And will it be available with a plain-edge blade?

For the money, VG10 is near unbeatable. I also noticed on BladeHQ, in their picture of it, the handle says Delica 4. haha. The delica/endura/matriarch are great knives, just dont take them apart. When you put them back together they never work the same.

Is this a sprint?

The only information I've seen is a pre-order page on KnifeCenter.com and a thread on Spyderco's official forums, so I'm not sure if it's a sprint run.

The Lil' Matriarch is not a Sprint, it will be a normal stock item. Currently the E(stimated!)TA is Jul/Aug. You can find more information about the model itself in our mid-year catalog supplement found here, http://www.spyderco.com/catalog/download.php.
