Lil Moby - cutting contest knife

I think you might have some kind of spatula fetish, Dan. I have officially dubbed my Pen-Knife the Tactical Spatula (or Tac-Spat for short). Seriously, though, i love the look of that knife. Maybe one day i'll have to get myself a Koster-custom;) Great work and good job finishing second place! make sure to get some pics or some vidoe feed next time:)

RR - the sharpness was the easy part. :D The hard part was ensuring it held it's edge. After all that cutting, I could still shave with it.


Jake - Tac-Spat.....love it. :eek: I think I'll add that to the list of things the Pen Knife is good for.....flippin' pancakes. :D

Speaking of holding an edge; how did you do the heat treat (is it edge quenched, full hardened, differential temper, etc.....)?

It is edge quenched. Someday I'll get around to etching it....has a cool temper line.
