Lil' Sis Goes to Basic

Sarge, I usually equate a DI's version of "assertive" with another word that begins with 'A', but that's another story. You're right though, the important thing to remember is that they aren't out to get you, personally, usually they drag along the whole platoon. It's only 9 weeks though, and it does end eventually.
 
:D Thanks for all your well wishes and prayers. I'm not really sure if I'm ready to go but unless Sandi breaks my leg I'm in the army now! It'll be fun though I'm sure. Ya'll probably hear how I'm doing from Sandi since I wont have a computer for quite awhile.

Sis,
Had a lil sweetie ,just like you,took her under my wing ! She joined the Marines(funny how my family seems to join the Marines)! Lil sweetie took toit like a "duck to water"! Met her husband in the Marines,they got out & she is in business now. Talked to her about her time in, she said,I would do it again ! Her problem was,"if not for my getting hitched I would still be in!! I LOVED IT!!Go get em Sis!

Well, Sis, best of luck to you. We're all pulling for you. If anyone gives you trouble, point them to the HI website, and tell them that those are the milder toys that your friends play with.
