I've been looking at this knife for a while trying to figure it out. Anybody have an opinion? I know it's not in the MBC category technically but it looks like it has the potential to be a rockin' little knife. Maybe the pictures don't translate the color well but is it really that "hospital scrubs" green? A grey Ti one with the bowie profile that was sharpened on the swedge would be to cool!

Thanks TOTC. Sounds like Sal has produced another winner. I didn't realize that it was an MBC knife. Hard to get over that color though. Guess it grows on you.

Personally, I like the color. Actually, I love it. I enjoy any departure from the plain black handles. Besides, its color won't matter when you feel its ergonomics.

TOTC, I like your site :)

Thank you very much! Praise from fellow BFC members is much appreciated. If you (or anyone) have any suggestions on how I could improve it, feel free to email me sometime.

I remember going to your site a while back before you divided it up into handle materials and such. If it were still like that I would suggest for a change. But ever since you changed it I have no suggestions :) I especailly like the scans from the book

I really don't like the olive G-10. If it were true olive drab, I may bite the bullet and get this knife. The design of the knife itself is great. I like the modified spear-point, myself, but they're very hard to find and still pretty expensive. I hope that in future runs they'll make a few with black G-10. This is a knife that deserves that tactical look. The olive just doesn't do it for me.

I like the green. Looks almost teal in the sun. It's nice for a change, I was getting sick of Black.

Is that thing flat ground of chisel ground, kind of hard to tell from the pics.
Thanks,
Matt

Yeah, yeah, whatever, I'm gonna have to get one, etc. etc....:)

And green scrubs to wear with it. :D *

Sorry Hondo, I'm fresh outta sundresses...:p

Does that handle feel as good as it looks?

Anyway, thanks to TOTC for the nice site and to Dman for the great scans!

Karl

* Which brings up a nice nightmare situation: you are on the operating table just before going under, and you look up to see the doc (in green scrubs and mask) thumbing open his matching Lil Temperance! And you hear him say, "No scalpel today, nurse, I'm going to see how sharp my new pocketknife is..."

That's no nightmare! Any man smart enough to see the superiority of Spyderco, especially the Temperance Jr, must be truly skilled with a blade. It would be an honor to be operated on with a Spyderco :D

The handle feels great in hand and the clip helps aid in holding on the knife. Very slick knife when opening and closing.

I really can't say enough good things about this knife and I'm as picky as they come. The only darwback is it only comes in a 3 inch blade right now which is fine because it's a big knife even in 3 inch form.

This knife will really rock when it comes in a 4 inch blade and I say when because I feel the demand is going to be there after more folks get the 3 inch model and see what I along with others that already have one are talking about.

Okay, Think, MAYBEEEE the nice thin, trailing point!

A VG-10 Delica with its finer profile would still be more to my liking...:)

And definitely NOT a Chinook!!
