Li'l Temperance

I faintly remember some mention of an FRN version of the Lil Temp. Maybe someone will know where to look and post a link to the thread where this was discussed.

I just received two Lil' Temperance Trailing point versions - only ever made in plain edge, and only ever made in CPM-440V steel - it's believed only one of these was made for every 5-7 leaf blade patterns.

I have to say it's an instant favorite and an amazing knife. As one of Sal's pet projects it's one heck of a knife.

Very, very unlikely. There are already designs for the Lil'T 2 on the table. I remember that Sal was even showning some prototypes at some shows at least a year back. I fear there are just so many projects in the works right now, that it will be a while before we are going to see the Lil'T 2. Sal talked about a FRN version and hinted at a Ti version with BG-42 because they had some lying around. But that was before the CF Mili in BG-42 came out, so there was probably a change of plans.

Can anyone post pics of the different balde styles in which the Li'l T was offered?

Also, what was the handle material of the Li'l T?

Thanks.

These are mine Lil' Temps. You can see the two blade versions: the leaf blade and the upswept bowie aka "rhino horn" or just "rhino" blade. The handle material is green G-10.

Thanks for the great pic Edrose. It is interesting to see the subtle differences in the handles. I.e., the drop point has a lined lanyard hold, the Bowie style has an extra torx head screw near the pivot and appears to be radiused .

I wish I had not been sleeping when these were available.

Very nice! I just wish I could buy every knife I like. This would surely be one of them.

Willieboy,
We seem to have the same taste in knives, no matter where we end up crossing paths!
This was one of those spydies that got away from me. I love the design, both blade styles.

Just goes to show you Roo...great minds and all that. I paid $169 new for mine. Check your PMs at the yard for some good stuff.
