Up for sale is a James Lile Model No. 7 hunter. This is an early model from the 1970s. I picked this up in a trade on here not long ago and have just had it sitting in a case unused. Includes a very nice sheath. Blade is right around 4”, overall about 8 1/2”. Some tarnishing on the brass, darkening and spotting throughout, particularly on the exposed tang, which has a couple spots of minor pitting, or else they're just rough spots, see pics. Very lovely and practical, and great condition for an approximately 50 year old knife. Blade has “Hand made by James B. Lile” engraved on it. These early pieces were signed by his wife before he started using a stamp. D2 steel with walnut handles. The model 7 was Mr. Lile’s personal favorite.
