Lil'Temperance finishes?

I think there was only one finish version for each blade types. The Temperance fixed blade did come in black, IIRC.

The Lil' Temperance came in both a rhino point and leaf-shaped blade, each only in a polished, mirror-like finish. Two steels were available, both from Crucible through their CPM process---440V and S30V. No variant of the Lil' Temperance was ever available in a black coating to my knowledge.

As Tohatchi NM said, the larger Temperance fixed blade was offered with a black finish in a plain edge. Check eBay, there always seems to be a few of these for sale there...

Good luck!

I have ( as of yesterday) a PE leaf Lil'Temperance - what is a Rhino point? Which design has the stronger tip? BTW - I really like this design - short -stout blade with a useable handle attached - great locking mechanism - where can I find another one?

The rhino point is a Persian-style clip point similar to the Chinook line. It has an upswept edge. Due to the thinness of the blade at this point, I'd say that the bellied leaf point is a stronger-tipped design. I picked up my Lil' Temperance on eBay NIB for under one hundred dollars (!!! :D), and there are always several auctions going on eBay. As the model is discontinued, it is hard to find them at retail outlets, etc. Good luck!
