Limit on Company Store purchases?

I check the Company Store 3-5 times whenever I sign on during the day. Sometimes, that results in being checked 25 times a day.

For the past week or so, it's been "Under maintenence" everytime I've checked, yet I read of the orange handled and the fried Game Wardens being listed and snapped up.

I'm told that some people have ordered 27 of something when it appears.

Here's the impact of that. Fewer and fewer people are getting INFI, much less a newbie that wants to know what all the fuss is about. I'm no longer a newbie, having bought quite a few Busses by this time.

Ordering thru Busse is different, as that does not affect my ablility to order and receive whatever it is I want, but the Company Store is different.

None of the Game Wardens, any of them, have ever been offered thru Busse. So, if I want one, I have to either get extremely lucky or pay a way-too-high price for it on the secondary market.

I haven't been lucky, and I refuse to pay that much to the guy that bought 'em all up w/ the sole intent of selling every last one at a ridiculous mark-up.

This game grows extremely tiresome.

I suggest limiting the purchase to FIVE of any one thing per day.

Otherwise, the Busse customer base will stagnate, as no new customers would be allowed a fair chance at getting some INFI of their own thru the Company Store.

Given time, the base will start to shrink, due to these hoarding customers dying off. Their hoard to be sold off by the unknowing wife who was stupid enough to believe the husband that told her each one only cost $35......maybe then I'll get a Game Warden.........:D

:thumbup: thanks for reopening this topic again i opened a Post yesterday on this subject and alot of people agreed with what i had to say then mysteriously the Post is closed ,i originally said there should be a 2 or 3 knife limit per 24 hour period so all may have this opportunity to own these at manufacture cost!:confused:

I don't think we have seen ANY evidence of this, this remains rumor and speculation without any basis in fact.
 
Ummmm, the Co Store has been rarely shut down in the last week - perhaps you have the pre-update hotlink. Go to the Co Store website and click ORDER again - that should take you to the Co Store okey-dokey-fine.

the only ones i have seen this high are from the custom shop.

the store models i have seen go from 160 (skeleton) to around 300 (le).

(right now= currently, write now=get a pencil and scribble):)

I see just two near that price range, one includes a custom sheath. Then there is another custom GW selling at its Ganza price plus shipping.


So what are you seeing that I'm not?


As someone said I think the buy-up and then mark-up allegations are unproven.


Also I just sold a green one for what I paid for it plus shipping and offered an orange one to another guy for the same deal, but then those guys post here a lot, are fun, and help others. :thumbup:

Not exactly. The only known case of someone buying large numbers of Wardens was Jaxx getting 27 of them; and we only know that because HE admitted it. You have not seen those knives on the exchange at an excessive mark-up.

That several other individuals have offered one Game Warden at $300+ does not support the hypothesis of someone buying them all up for resale.
