Limited Edition 111 Magnacut (Idaho 20th Anniversary) - Stealth Run #009

Yes, don't know for sure who coined that word...I'm going to say, Roger, DeSotoSky DeSotoSky .
I don't know If I can take credit for that but I'm sure I've used the term more than once....

addendum: Preston, you made me look. Using SEARCH, the earliest use of the term I could find referencing a blade etch as a "Billboard" was made in October 2007 by Buckaholic Buckaholic .
"They are out of stock on the 120BR but it seems like you can get a 120 phenolic. Would look the same as the Pro-Line but no billboard etching and no free lifetime sharpening."

My last post about this...
As I have had time now to think about this entire happening. If Buck would have initially billed it as a stealth run instead of an anniversary edition I probably would have gone along for the ride and bought one.

I agree. Seems like mixed messaging from Buck. On the listing page there is no mention in the text this knife is a Stealth Run. Only that it is an Anniversary knife; as others have mentioned, no Anniversary indication on the knife. Stealth Run is only mentioned on the Buck home page.

Fully agree, 20th Idaho tang stamp/etch is glaringly missing.

I wish there was a picture of the COA. IF there is one included. But I always wish this, unfortunately it almost never happens.

"To commemorate its 20th anniversary and to help celebrate 20 years of Buck Knives in Idaho, the Model 111 has been brought back from the vault for this limited run. . . . Only 1,000 pieces of this special anniversary edition. . ."

I just ordered one. It will be my first Magnacut and technically second 11#. I found an old three pin 110 when I was running a roller on a paving crew. I was out in the bushes for some reason, maybe waiting on trucks, and found it. I imagine it belonged to some roughneck from the oil fields because that’s where we were, Mckittrick, CA, West of Bakersfield.

A standard 110 from the Custom Shop with Magnacut, nickel bolsters and a standard black sheath is $170.
Add a distressed leather sheath for an additional $10.
What am missing? So this knife is in no way different in price or features than one that can be ordered from the Custom Shop?

I wish there was a picture of the COA. IF there is one included.
Someone help me, did previous Stealth Runs come with COA's?
.
