Limited Edition "Drunken Janitor Edition" Basic - 11 asymmetric grind - tanker grey infi blade with the resin handle. 1 of 30

Any asymmetric's ? This is not a chisel edge, it's some magic voodo that Jerry did. The edge is what makes the difference. I've never seen another one for sale since i bought mine.

I bet I could find several instances of sales. If you searched you could as well

Well, i looked - nothing came up In a search. Which i now know why. There are only 30 that were made for a show from 2010. BASIC-11 with the asymmetric edge is VERY rare! Thanks everyone for the info! Does anyone have an idea what this may be worth with this new info? $600-650 sound reasonable ?

put the price you think is right for you, a seller will offer what he/she think is right for him/her

then negotiate until both of you are happy or move to the next one. repeat until it's sold.

Yes i am in agreement With your line of thinking, however i do want to be reasonable - which is why i am asking. Now that i know this is 1 of 30 and Jerry made it himself, and Busse won't do this edge on any more knives, unless they are through the custom shop - it does change the value. Wouldn't you agree? I am asking the community as BUSSE has a "cult" like following. We buy these knives because they are awesome. But some of us buy them for the value they hold.

If I remember correctly, while at blade show you could order the B11 with an asymmetric grind. I chose the standard v edge and have been happy with it. It's not magical, one side is convexed while the other is not.

Am i the only one who can clearly tell thats a fake. Everything about it is off.. ill give you a case of beer to drink away the loss and pay shipping for it to be sent to me for proper disposal so nobody else gets doooped down the road on it .
no fakes here!

Twoody was just kidding you.;)
Well - I have seen threads go sideways many times here - I am in no way trying to be negative, and i edited my response accordingly - I was only trying to get some honest feedback on value - My intention was not to make waves - "context" is impossible to decipher without knowing that person.

At the 2010 blade show?

Well, that is the exact point! That was over a decade ago!
If i could order a 250 swb aluminum 1962 Ferrari for the asking price of $7800 i would buy 1000 now! Unfortunately that is not how it works. The best example sold for over 62MM and I was at that auction.

There are ONLY 30 copies of this rare piece. I have 1 and i am asking for the BUSSE community to offer a true fair price.

The Busse community is a diverse group. However - with that said - it is also a group of purists for the brand.

Just because something is rare does not make it more valuable. The B11 aren't really collector knives, they are workhorses. So no one is really going to pay that much over the going rate for a slightly different grind. I've got a few one of one pieces, they don't sell for that much more.
