Elishewitz-Liong Mah collaboration folding kris flipper. I think Allen mentioned this was this was the most difficult knife to grind. It's a real beauty, design-wise, ergos, everything. Not many folding kriss style flippers out there, with double fullers in the blade to boot.
I was going to keep this, as I feel it displays a knifemaker's tooling/grinding ability a great deal (we all know Allen is a master at those milling machines), and my penchant for good designs and ergos. But, you guys know my story already, so this goes on the sale block.
I got the folder directly from Liong, so it's MINT from maker.
4inch CPM154V blade, two-toned. Shaving sharp and flips with zero wrist. Fine satin titanium bolsters and liners. Lock-up is perfect and opening/closing is buttery smooth. Centered blade and tip up. Jaguar fibermascus scales (leading to the name of the folder). This is No.10 of only 20 that were built.
If you like good designs, you will be very very happy with this folder.
