Limited Edition RadioActive Duty With Tiger Hide Micarta Handles Coming Sunday, 7-28-2024, At 9:00 PM Eastern

Just my $.02, but I’d think something touting some beloved, long sought handle material should’ve had a more “dramatic” method of machining employed to show it off.

These handles look blah to me. Not bad, just short of the hype. Maybe we need a pic of one after a couple weeks of carry.
 
🤔... Seems about the same to me when compared to past LE's wearing canvas Tigerhide with similar flat handle styles.

The BATACLE on the left (#23) is how they arrived. #27 got a little love to bring out the color.

Just oil, or what? If it’s just some oil added that’s what we need pics of. “As machined” looks meh at best.
 
If the pics have oil on them I would like to see them without. I still like how it looks but from those pics it doesn't look like what I had in my mind. I've never owned any tigerhide though, so all I have is pics to go off of

I'm not sure I'm catching your question correctly...
But the RADLE handles look oiled to me. Zoom in on the pic showing the pile side, it looks to be evaporating/drying a little, showing lighter coloring in the canvas weave.

My BATACLE #27 was hand sanded with finer grit paper, 600 grit maybe? (Been a looong time ago now) & then oiled with mineral oil.
 
One more question, first time for an LE and I don't want to screw up....

Can you get more than 1?

If so, can you make the quantity more than one and put all the requested numbers in order in the comments? 😁

Question 1- Yes
Question 2- If you are ordering multiples & want to request #'s for each, yes, put all of your # requests in the order comments.
(ETA: This is the first time we're using the website for a numbered run. I'm assuming that the site will allow for multiples to be added on 1 order like with any other run.)
 
Completed with a confirmation at 9:03. Should be able to score #94 to match my various SARs and FBM LEs. (If anyone has SAR-3 LE #94 or Sus Scrofa LE #94, please let me know)

The more I look at these the more I love them. The blade with that swedge looks more like the GW2 which I like. I'm definitely turning one of mine into a user and rounding the handle to match the GW2. I did it on my mountain duty and I love that knife. Gonna need a slick leather pocket carry sheath for this one 😁
