I noticed two beautiful sebie's "limited editions," with redwood up for sale tonight. Their beauty made me stop and realize how little I know about the Limited Editions.

Can anyone out there provide some background on the LE's? I've read the CR website data but wonder the following (1) what's the price range (2) waiting period (3) does the buyer choose the wood, and if so, what is the range of choices?
 
Price range used to be $515 for a small and $545 for a large. But I think the price is now +$40 roughly for each.

If you don't by them from a dealer but putin an order, then the wait is a year, as long as CRK still has spot open for next year.

It used to be you couldn't specify the wood, I think you can now though. I usually by mine from a dealer because I like to see the wood first.

They use more woods then the site has listed. Call and ask is the bst route.
 
Any of the three posted sebs are a great deal, if you are familiar with and already lik sebs. I'd get one myself but don't have the $$$.
