Well its not like I listed a price, I know you're not supposed to do that in this forum! I'm just having a hard time with it since i'm in an area where knife making is not very common (Southern Connecticut)

What you do get is being put on my ignore list because you can't play by the rules.

I understand peoples annoyance with this, just looking for some help really. My apologies, just trying to offer a nice piece of equipment at an affordable price as a win/win (helping me sell while giving someone the opportunity to buy)

Try to think of BF as a place, a community much like the community you live in, in Southern Connecticut.

There are rules where you live right?

Same for here.....so maybe just try following them.
Wanna do things your way in Southern Connecticut, or here, and it's not gonna be a "win-win"

Original post removed and ... warning issued.

If you play on our website and play by the rules, it's a win/win/win situation.
You get to sell, the buyer gets the equipment, Bladeforums gets a new member.

Without Bladeforums, none of us would be here for this scenario to work out thousands of times a year.

BladeForums offers a HUGE amount of value to it's users FOR FREE. It appears by your post that you were attempting to do a "work around" related to the rules of the forum. If a user is going to make a financial profit off this site and its members (selling something; item, service, etc.), there are simple affordable ways to use the site and community via various levels of subscription.

It has been my experience that a lot of folks lurk and read, then start posting and potentially buying (yes buying is also free service option - NICE). When it comes to making a profit off the site, it seems very reasonable that it's time to step up and contribute financially to the site.

I did this exact scenario. Currently however finances are such that I have had to let my paid subscription lapse back as family must come first.

BF paid subscription is one of the first subscription services on my list to reinvest. Why, because I get huge value from just reading from the forums. I do my best to contribute back posting answers, suggestions, lessons learned first hand to assist the community and look forward to being able to bump back up to Gold member status at some point soon.

It is my hope, that you can understand that the rules related to selling requiring a paid subscription are actually very lenient with regard to all the value subscribers actually get for their membership.
