I have a special project I am working on that requires Nylon and Kydex for the Sheath. I need it to be silent so I am looking for a way to line the Kydex or find some that is already lined. I also need a supplier for the heavy weight Nylon used on Tactical Sheaths.

This is all way out of the normal stuff I work with so any help finding these materials will be appriciated.

I've lined a couple kydex sheaths with moleskin. I heard about it here, and if I recall correctly RJ Martin came up with the idea. I've used it to protect the finish. The moleskin is put on before forming. With mine I'm careful not to put the knife back in them dirty.

Well I guess you figured this out because you make awesome sheaths now... love to see a tutorial on how you make them...

RJ Martin Wasabi, kangaroo leather covered kydex.
It really is a perfect setup for the knife.
